Abraham Lincoln

John's class learned about Abraham Lincoln today. They made a Abraham Lincoln picture and they also played a game with pennies. When Daddy got home from work John proudly showed him the picture of Lincoln. He said "Do you know who this is?" Daddy said "Hmmm let me think. Is he a president?" John grinned and said "Yes! The sixteenth!" Daddy said "George Washington?" John shook his head. "No! Abraham Lincoln!" Daddy asked him if John knew why Lincoln was an important president. John said "He found a store that sold people. And he didn't like it. So he made them stop! And then one day someone got mad at him and they shot him in the back of the head. And you know what he was an actor in a show!"
