The deer

We just got home from dinner and when pulling onto our street, we spotted a deer in the middle of the road.  As we pulled into the driveway, Gillian said "That deer would be in big trouble if we ranned it over!"  I said "You are right.  The deer would have been in big trouble!"  Gillian then said "And Santa would be mad!  We would never get presents again!"
