He knows when you're sleeping

Tonight, Gillian told me "Santa can watch me when I'm in my room." I said "Of course he can, he sees everything." She said "No. There's something in my room that he uses." Ok, so I'm intrigued now. I asked "What are you talking about?" She says "You gotta come to my room!" We went to her room and she pointed at the ceiling to the smoke detector. Apparently Gillian thinks that Santa watches people through smoke detectors. Got to love her imagination.
