Forts

I got a few boxes in the mail today. When the kids got home they didn't even notice the boxes in the living room. I quickly emptied the biggest one and let John and Gillian climb in. If you read my blog daily I am sure you already know of my children's love of boxes. It is one of their favorite things to play. They were content to climb in and out. I emptied the other big box and made a "mom fort." Basically the two boxes were on their sides and I had a blanket on top. Daddy got home and saw my fort. He immediately told John that he would make a new fort after dinner. Daddy cut the boxes and made the fort tall with windows and lighting done with glow sticks. After dinner Gillian and John loved playing in the fort. And Daddy is already discussing additions and improvements to the fort. This is why girls don't build forts.
