Lately Gillian has been trying to get our attention any way possible. If we are driving somewhere, she will say "Mommy!" If you do not respond right away, you get "Mommy! Hello!" Again, if you do not respond right away, you get "Hello! Mommy! Hello!" And let me be clear when I say "you do not respond right away" I mean a matter of seconds. Children have no concept of time and my kids are no exception.
Tonight during dinner, John was telling me a story and Gillian wanted my attention for something (most likely because I was talking to John). Instead of doing her "Hello! Mommy!", she says "Hola! Mommy!" Well that worked. She got my attention. Smart little lady.
