Mommy kisses

Everyone knows that a kiss from Mommy makes everything better. Today in the car on our way home from school, Gillian had a boo-boo on her finger. She was holding out her finger and said "Owww! Mommy kiss." I explained to her that I couldn't kiss her finger while driving the car. So I kissed my fingers and put it on her "hurt" finger. As soon as I did that she said "Owww!" So I blew her a kiss. That didn't work either. I even had John try to help me. I blew John a kiss and he said "I got it. See Gilly?" That didn't satisfy Gillian. She cried the rest of the way home, but she completely forgot about her injured finger once we started talking about dinner. My silly Gilly.
