Splish splash

I gave the kids a bath tonight. Lately John has been showering so it is pretty rare to have the two of them in the tub together. Tonight they were very good in the bathtub. No fighting just a few giggles. They were playing with John's Spider-Man and Iceman. Gillian put Spider-Man on the bathtub ledge. She was putting him night-night. When she was distracted I pushed him back in the tub. She got mad, but put Spider-Man back on the ledge. And again I pushed him back in the tub. She yelled at me, but yet again put him back on the ledge. This time, I said to her Gilly look over there as I pointed to the back of the tub. She looked of course and I pushed Spider-Man into the tub. Both John and Gillian started giggling. Now John wanted to get involved. He put Iceman up on the ledge and says "Don't knock him over!" But I did it again and again. And every time they heard the splash of the water they laughed and laughed. We continued with this game until it was time to get cleaned. I love that the simplest games get the most giggles.
