Today we went Christmas tree shopping with Uncle T, Aunt Missy, Mimi and Poppy. John loved the challenge of finding the perfect tree. He led Aunt Missy throughout the entire tree farm. After looking at what feels like every tree on the farm, we found our tree. The tree farm had a two part tag system. If you wanted a tree you tore off the bottom part of the tag and they would go and cut it down for you. When we showed John the tree that Daddy and I picked, John said "But it's sold!" Smart boy! He also decided it was necessary to help the workers with netting the trees and putting them in the truck.
The tree is up in the living room, but we will not decorate it until tomorrow night. Like usual I checked our lights and had to throw away half of them. I will be picking up lights on my lunch break tomorrow. John is so excited to put the star on top of the tree.
